Understanding transfer partners

Bank points (Chase UR, Amex MR, Citi TYP, Capital One) gain the most value through transfer partners — airlines and hotels where 1:1 transfers can unlock 2+ cpp redemptions.

Not every transfer is worth it. Compare the dollar value before and after using this calculator. A 1:1 transfer to a program with lower cpp can lose value.
